Leutasch: a true paradise for exercise hungry travellers

Leutasch is a true paradise for a hiking holiday in Tyrol for both hiking and Nordic walking. All around our hotel in Tyrol there are flat and hilly trails for leisurely hikers and Nordic walkers, but there are also challenging trails awaiting the exercise fanatics. As a guest of our hotel, you can find out where the best places to run through nature are, where the trails rise or fall, go through woods or underbrush, from one of the world's top runners, Julia Böttger. The world class trail runner takes guests of our hotel and shows them in a little more detail that the Leutaschtal valley is particularly suited for this very special type of sport.

That exercise on foot here with us at the Quellenhof Leutasch has a very special importance, is proven by the fact that that we have taken part several times in the Leutasch half marathon, both with our private guests and a staff team - led from the front by your host, Emmerich Mitterhuber.

There are times during your hiking holiday in Tyrol when the meadows and forests are particularly attractive

At 1,130 metres above sea level, along the many valley trails or along the Leutasch River, it's possible to enjoy wonderful walks, Nordic walking and hiking all around our hotel. The forests around the Quellenhof are ideal for collecting wild mushrooms and berries. The Quellenhof Leutasch is the perfect starting point for numerous hikes and the ideal place for your wonderful hiking holiday in Tyrol.

The Leutasch valley and the adjacent Gaistal valley are certainly among the most beautiful alpine areas of the Alps and are the perfect place for a hiking holiday in Tyrol. Particularly enthusiastic hikers can find a challenge in the Wetterstein mountains from the Zugspitze to the Karwendel. According to our own Quellenhof philosophy, it is not ultimately important to climb the highest peaks. What matters is the exercise in the fresh air - preferably one hour per day - and in any weather. With the right clothing, adverse weather conditions should not frighten you from hiking during your hiking holiday in Tyrol and even allows us to experience the power of nature from a different angle.

Approximately 30 different marked running trails along hilly paths or challenging trails invite you to explore the region around the Quellenhof Leutasch on foot. In winter there are cleared winter hiking trails and snowshoe routes which can also be taken wearing running shoes and make running or hiking in Leutasch something very special.

We at the Hotel Quellenhof in Leutasch would be delighted if you were to spend your hiking holiday with us here in Tyrol!
